The fifth rally of the season for the Italian Michelin Cup is taking place in the Italian Dolomites this weekend, in which Rok Turk is also competing successfully this year. Before the start of the penultimate rally for scoring in the cup, the rally San Martino di Castrozza, Rok with his Peugeot 208 R2 is among the competing racers in the leading position with 83 points, and in his class is also the most numerous competition, as this season there are currently 16 racers.
After a long summer break, Rok is already looking forward to racing again and fighting with seconds: “Attractive speed tests over high mountain passes promise an interesting and tense rally, but above all a lot will depend on the weather and the right choice of tires. Of course, co-driver Blanka Kacin and I came to the rally for a new good result and new points in the Michelin Cup! ”
A short night superspecial was already on the agenda on Friday, and on Saturday Roka and Blanko are waiting for 106 kilometers of speed trials of winding roads in the Dolomites with a finish in San Martin di Castrozza.
