Ricciardo won again after the Mercedes collision

The Belgian GP started in cloudy weather. A few minutes before the start, the track was wet with rain, and meteorologists predicted the possibility of a downpour towards the end of the race.

The Ferrari team took care of the first excitement before the start of the warm-up round. The mechanics were still working on Fernando Alonso's race car after the start of the warm-up lap.

The race was best started by Lewis Hamilton, who broke through to first place by the first turn. Sebastian Vettel also slipped past Rosberg, having already attacked Hamilton at the end of the Camel Plain, and then had to ride his blocked bike into the excursion zone. He lost one spot and returned to the track behind Rosberg.

In the second round, Rosberg attacked Hamilton in Les Combes, who tried to close him, injuring the German's wings and puncturing his tire.

After the third round, he led Rosberg, followed by Vettel, Alonso, Ricciardo, Bottas, Raikkonen, Magnussen, Massa, Button, Perez.

Hamilton drove into the pits at the end of the lap and returned to last place after changing the tire. Meanwhile, Rosberg found himself in trouble with a broken wing.

In the 4th lap, Ricciardo overtook Alonso, and two laps later, teammate Vettl, who made a mistake, and went on a hunt for Rosberg.

In the eighth lap, Valtteri Bottas easily overtook Alonso on the Camel plane, and the Spaniard was immediately chased by teammate Raikkonen.

At the end of the eighth lap, he drove Rosberg into the pits, where the mechanics installed a new nose for the car in addition to the new tires. Raikkonen was also called to the pits at Ferrari. With Rosberg, however, they returned to 14th and 15th place. The Red Bull took the lead, closely
they were followed by Bottas.

In the 11th lap, the commissioners announced that Alonso would have to serve a five-second penalty at the next stop, as the mechanics did not withdraw from the race car in time at the start of the warm-up lap. Vettel drove to the pits at his stop.

A lap later, the leader Ricciardo drove to the stop, returning to fourth place, ahead of Raikkonen. After the Red Bull racer stopped, Bottas led, followed by Alonso and Button.

The 13th round was the stop time for Alonso, who returned just after Perez to tenth place after serving his sentence.

After the stop of Bottas and Button, Ricciardo took the lead again in the fourteenth lap, followed by Raikkonen, and Finc was followed by Vettel.

Vettel restrained Rosberg and Bottas, and Ricciardo and Raikkonen slowly fled. In the 16th lap, Rosberg tried to pass Vettel, but his wheels were blocked and Vettel escaped him. The mistake, however, allowed Bottas to attack and successfully overtake the German, whose
they had previously urged the team to overtake Vettl if he wanted to fight for the win.

In the 18th lap, Hamilton, who was driving in the background, made another stop. Vettel, Bottas and Rosberg fought for third place. The latter decided to stop, as he had destroyed the tires in a previous attempt to overtake Vettl.

In the 20th lap, Hamilton suggested to his engineers that they finish the race early, thus saving the engine.

In the 22nd lap, Raikkonen drove from second place to the second stop. A lap later, Vettel also stopped in the pits.

Raikkonen skilfully overtook Buttn for fifth place in the 25th lap and Rosberg for Alonso for third.

In the 26th lap, he drove Alonso into the pits, and Vettel overtook Buttn and broke through again for Raikkonen.

In the 28th lap, the leader was replaced by the leader Ricciardo, the lead was taken by Bottas, who brought the lap to the stop later and left the lead again to the Australian with Red Bull.

In the 31st lap, in the fight for fourth place, Vettla overtook Bottas, who went on a hunt for compatriot Raikkonen, who drove 2.5 seconds ahead of him.

Hamilton, in 15th place, was still urging engineers to opt for an early withdrawal from the race in order to save material for the next races.

in the 35th lap, Rosberg and Vettel drove to a stop, pushing Raikkonen into second place behind Ricciard.

Eight laps before the end, Rosberg overtook Bottas in third place with fresh tires, followed easily by Raikkonen as well, and set out to hunt Ricciardo, who was 21 seconds away.

37th round. Order Ricciardo, Rosbeerg, Raikkonen, Bottas, Magnussen, Alonso, Button, Vettel, Perez, Kvyat.

Six laps before the end, Rosberg raced a good two seconds per lap faster than Ricciardo, and his teammate Hamilton again wanted to finish the race early.

Bottas had already tried to pass Raikkonen for third place five laps before the end, but Hamilton's wish came true and he finished the race in the garage.

Four laps before the end, Bottas overtook Raikkonen.

Two laps before the end, we witnessed an outraged quadruple for fifth place. Both McLaren racers battled Fernando Alonso and Vettl.

In the end, Ricciardo celebrated just three seconds ahead of Rosberg, third was Bottas and fourth was Raikkonen. In the fight for fifth place, Vettel was the most successful to reach the finish line. Behind him, Magnussen, Button, Alonso, Perez and Kvyat crossed the finish line. However, the commissioners will decide on the fight between Magnussen and Alons after the race, so the final result may change.
