The organizers of the World Relicross Championship have signed a multi-year cooperation agreement with the DTM series. The Relicross Race will take place as a support race as part of the racing weekend in Hockenheim, hosting the first event of the season.

The RX World Championships were a huge success last year, in their premiere season, as the stands at races around the world were packed. The first crown of the world relic cross champion was won by Peter Solberg, a famous rally racer for the world championship and champion of the 2003 season.

This year, the relic cross season is expanding from twelve to thirteen races as the race at Hockenheim has been added to the calendar. The event will take place on a track built along the track where the DTM races take place, just for the needs of relics. It will be a so-called support race that will entertain spectators who will buy a ticket to watch the DTM race. In addition to reliquary, as part of the racing weekend, you will also be able to see the German Porsche Carrera Cup, the European Formula Three Championship, and the new Audi TT Cup.

The racing weekend in Hockenheim will take place between 1 and 3 May.
