Force India reserve racer Daniel Juncadella is currently still vying for a F1 racing seat for next season, but he won't wait indefinitely: "A year as a reserve racer is wise to take advantage of, but two years would be too much." Namely, Daniel also talked about the possible entry into the DTM for the entire season: “I prepared a lot for the next season, learned a lot and prepared to be a regular racer. At the moment, it's hard to say how realistic it is to get a chance in F1, I'm already racing in the DTM series and maybe I'll do it in the future.
I have to say I love racing in the DTM series, the F1 is not my only choice. I have quite a few people around me who support me and if the opportunity arises, I will definitely seize the opportunity, but there is no talk of a free seat yet. ” Force India have already announced that they want to keep the current racing line-up, Nico Hulkenberg and Sergio Perez. Daniel doesn't bother with that either: "If I don't stay in F1, I'll race in DTM, where Mercedes is very happy with me."
