Even before the rally, it was known that this would be a very demanding rally because 1/3 of the speed tests out of a total of 77 km took place on macadam and the weather forecast was not promising. On Saturday, the weather prospects came true and even at the peak of the first speed test, the crews were surprised by the snow. Grega and Gregor drove the first HP quite well and lagged only behind the Mitshubishis which have a 4 × 4 drive, which was a big advantage on the macadam uphill. Unfortunately, the rally for Grego and Gregor ended 2km before the finish line 2 HP. Due to a technical error on the accelerator pedal, a slip from the road also followed. The luck in the accident was that they were stopped by a tree because if it weren’t for it, it would have landed in the valley. Unfortunately, resignations are part of this sport, so Grega and Grego are already watching with their heads held high at the next rally that will take place in the vicinity of Opatija in Croatia.

Grega: '' As I have not been doing since the beginning of this season, and so it was again at the Maribor rally. After a well-taken 1HP, the gas failed at 2HP after a good 2km. He worked once, not once. Unfortunately, this mistake also cost me resigning by slipping off the road. Good thing there was nothing worse so the car will be ready for the next Opatija rally. The rally itself was very demanding and interesting. It was raining in the valley, and higher than we were driving it was snowing. Just the resignation, the weather conditions and what else is the charm of the rally, so Gregor and I are going to the next rally with our heads held high. Thanks also to the team who never give up and believe in me despite the poor start to the season. ''
