Dorna has announced a new date for this year's off-season testing at the new Finnish KymiRing racetrack. After we reported yesterday that testing was scheduled due to delays in completing the construction of the said racetrack moved to Misano.

As already mentioned, it was initially planned that the MotoGP class racers would test the new racetrack for the first time in a two-day test between August 29.8 and August 30.8.2019, 2017. The organizers of the race in Finland signed a five-year contract with Dorna a few years ago, with which the first race is expected to take place in the 2020 season. The implementation of the race in the XNUMX season is now also in question. According to Dorna, the racetrack must provide the team with a test before the first race.

Nevertheless, the track should be properly prepared by this summer, when it is now between 19.8. and 20.8.2019/XNUMX/XNUMX, a two-week test took place a week before the Silverstone race. Race organizers have given assurances that the track will then be ready for the first test.

Each of the six factory teams was said to represent at least one of their racers at the time.
