The extremely popular Race of Champions, which is scheduled to take place on December 14 and 15, has been canceled due to political unrest in the Thai capital Bangkok, and the organizers want to hold the event on a different date.

As last year, the event is supposed to take place at the Rajamangala Stadium, which was occupied by protesters. As the violent anti-government protests have already claimed four lives, the organizers of the RoC have decided to cancel the race, in which the best racers in the world will compete in the same race cars. In addition to the four-time Formula One world champion and many other top racers, Felix Baumgartner, who became famous for his parachute jump from the edge of space, is expected to take part in this year's race.
