Quartararo with a track record at the top of the third practice

Fabio Quartararo won his third free practice in Jerez with a time of 1: 36.806 and also set a track record. He was best approached by Jack Miller, who was half a tenth behind him. The third time was set by Joan Mir, who was again much faster this time than teammate Alex Rins. With today's twelfth place, the latter did not secure a direct appearance in the faster qualifying group. Marc Marquez set the fourth time ahead of Maverick Vinales and Cal Crutchlow.

The seventh time was set by the second racer of the Petronas team Franco Morbidelli in front of compatriot Valentino Rossi. Francesco Bagnaia and Andrea Dovizioso finished in the top ten.
