After the incident at the Nürburgring, when the cameraman was cut down by an escaped Red Bull tire, Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone ordered the changes. The film crews will have to move from the immediate vicinity of the crews and vehicles to the opposite side of the pits, where there is a protective fence. This rule will already be observed at the Hungarian Grand Prix and will apply until further notice.
The Red Bull team was fined € 30.000 for dangerous behavior, which is not such a high amount for such a team, as their driver Mark Webber earns € 20.267 a day.
