Today, as part of a promotional filming day, McLaren put a Honda-powered race car on the track in Silverston for the first time. The McLaren MP4-29H, an updated chassis this year, has made sure Honda has gathered a wealth of data on its powertrain, meaning work on the race car for the 2015 season, the MP4-30, will be able to move forward.
The FIA allows so-called filming days, where teams can drive up to 100 kilometers on special tires.
