Danilo Petrucci replaced the still absent Eneo Bastianini in the MotoGP race for the French GP in the factory Ducati garage, and after the race in Le Mans he is faced with the fact that he will have to say goodbye to MotoGP again and at the same time to the motorcycle for which he he says it's probably the best he's ever driven.

"I'm really proud," said Petrucci after the race, who is competing in the WSBK championship for Ducati this year. "It was like a big gift from Ducati. I'm proud to be here with a factory Ducati, probably the best motorcycle I've ridden in my life. I would like to thank the fans. I was on the podium three times in France, I also won once, and the French fans were really kind to me."
