Sergio Perez is the winner of the seventh race of the season in Monaco. He was joined on stage by Carlos Sainz and Max Verstappen.

Charles Leclerc finished home fourth. Monaco was a victim of Ferrari's strategy this time.

Fifth place went to George Russell ahead of Land Norris and Fernando Alonso. Eighth was Lewis Hamilton. Esteban Ocon and Valtteri Bottas finished in the top ten.

The race started with an hour's delay behind the safety car due to rain.

Nicholas Latifi and Lance Stroll crashed into a wall while driving behind a safety car and had to drive to change wings and tires.

The “real race” then began at the beginning of the third lap with a flying start. Most racers opted for wet track tires in the introduction.

Already in the introductory laps, some racers in the background tried to take a risk with the tires for a partially wet track.

One of the first to opt for “intermediate” tires was Pierre Gasly, who managed to overtake several competitors on the track.

Sergio Perez was the first to change tires. Two rounds later, Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen did the same. Both therefore lost their place against Perez.

Subsequently, most racers opted for dry track tires. In the chaos, they won the Red Bull racers, who broke through to first and third place, respectively.

In the XNUMXth lap, Mick Schumacher resigned due to a collision with a guardrail. A safety car then drove onto the track again. Kevin Magnussen also resigned due to problems with the car.

The race was interrupted in the thirtieth lap as the fence needed to be repaired.

Sainz chased Perez in the end but did not change the order in the forefront.
