Dani Pedrosa today became the first racer of the MotoGP series to win two races this year. The Spaniard started the French GP from sixth place and managed to break through to a sovereign victory in mixed weather conditions. Racer Repsol Honda thus leads in the overall standings of the championship in front of teammate Marco Marquez, who, after a bad start, still managed to reach third place. The other was Cal Crutchlow.
