Dani Pedrosa showed his teeth before the race in Malaysia and recorded the fastest times of both free practice today. In the second practice, with a time of 2: 00.554, he missed the lap record held by Jorge Lorenzo by only two tenths of a second, but despite that, the Spaniard was more than half a second faster than all his competitors.
As in the first, Marc Marquez was only behind his teammate at Repsol Honda. Valentino Rossi showed a little more in the second practice and took the fourth fastest time, while Jorge Lorenzo was the sixth.
