Miguel Oliveira is the winner of the second race of the season in Mandalika. He was joined on the podium by Fabio Quartararo and Johann Zarco. In fourth place was Jack Miller ahead of Suzuki racers, Rins ahead of Mir. Franco Morbidelli finished in seventh place ahead of Brad Binder, Aleix Espargaro and Darryn Binder, who finished in the top ten to score his first points in the elite class. Eleventh this time was the winner of the inaugural race Enea Bastianini ahead of Paul Espargaro, Alex Marquez and Luc Marini. The last point was won by Francesco Bagnaia.

The race, which started with more than an hour of delay due to heavy rain, was best started by Fabio Quartararo, who retained first place in the start of the race. Worse started Brad Binder and the winner of the inaugural race Enea Bastianini. Miguel Oliveira and Jack Miller took second and third place in the background. The Portuguese lost the lead to Oliveira and Miller at the start of the second round. The Australian quickly took the lead from third place and moved away from Quartararo together with the Portuguese. The Frenchman subsequently lost places against Alex Rins and Johann Zarco. Morbidelli also started well, breaking from fifteenth to seventh.

In the fourth round, Oliveira took the lead and began to gain an advantage over the second Miller.

In the first turn of the seventh lap, Jorge Martin finished first with a fall. Due to problems with the motorcycle, Andrea Dovizioso resigned.

Johann Zarco was the fastest racer in the middle of the race and overtook Rins for third place in the tenth lap.

In the end, Quartararo got involved in the fight for second place between Miller and Zarco. The current world champion managed to beat both of them and went hunting for the leader Oliveiro. But the Portuguese was a class of his own today.
