KTM RC16
At KTM they will be this year at Brad Binder also bet on Miguel Oliveira, who has so far competed for the Tech 3 satellite team. The Austrians rushed to the online presentation and presented both motorcycles marked RC16, ie Binder 's number 33 and Oliveira' s number 33.
Ducati Desmosedici GP21
Ducati's factory team is one of three to compete in the new season with a completely new line-up of drivers as last year. Jack Miller in Francesco Pecco Bagnaia will be replaced by Andrea Dovizioso and Danilo Petrucci. The Australian and the Italian know each other well, as they have played together for the Pramac team in the past two seasons. The Italians will present a motorcycle marked Desmosedici GP21 February 9th.
Yamaha YZR-M1
Yamaha’s factory team is betting on a duo in the new season Maverick Vinales in fabio quartararo. The Spaniard is at Yamaha for his sixth season, and Quartararo joined the team after the end of last season, when he played for the satellite team Petronas SRT. Yamaha will unveil the motorcycle for the new season at online event on February 18th.
Honda RC213V
Factory team Repsol Honda in the new season, at least initially, she will most likely not be able to count on services Marc Marquez, who apparently has not yet healed his hand injury from last season, but will be there from the beginning Espargaro Pol, who moved to the Japanese brand from KTM. Honda has not yet revealed the date of the presentation of the motorcycle for the new season, and it is not yet clear who will replace Marquez until his return. For now, the most likely scenario seems to be that this role will again belong to the test driver Stefan Bradl, and an agreement with Andrea Dovizioso is also mentioned.
Gresini Aprilia RS-GP
From the team Gresini Racing team they announced before the start of the season that they are working with Aprilia for the last year this year. The team also trembles for the health of their boss, Faustus Gressini, who is still in hospital due to complications following a new coronavirus infection, and so far only one driver has been officially confirmed. Who will race alongside Aleix Espargaro is still an open question. It was last mentioned Lorenzo Savadoria, but there is no official confirmation yet. At Gresini's did not announce the date of the presentation motorcycle for the new season.
Petronas Yamaha YZR-M1
Yamaha's satellite team Petronas will perform this year with an interesting duo of youth and experience, as they will drive for him Franco Morbidelli and evergreens Valentino Rossi. The peculiarity of the driving team is also that the student will race in the same team against the teacher, as Morbidelli was a member of Rossi's VR46 driving academy. Petronas Yamaha will present the motorcycle for the 2021 season at The “real” event in Sepang, namely February 15th.
Bow Ducati Desmosedici GP21
Like the Ducati factory team, Pramac is betting on a completely new driving duo. From the Avintia team came the experienced Johann zarco, and the young part of the team represents George Martin, who joined the team from the Moto2 class. Pramac has not revealed yet, so he intends to present the motorcycle for the new season.
Tech 3 KTM RC16
KTM's satellite team is betting on the experienced in the 2021 season Danilo Petrucci, who joined the French team from Ducati, and his teammate will Iker Lecuona, for which this will be the second season in the Tech 3 team. Unlike the factory KTM team, Tech 3 has not yet presented colors for the new season, which is most likely due to the fact that Red Bull retreats from the position of the main sponsor of the team.
LCR Honda RC213V
Team Lucia Cecchinella will continue to compete next season with the only Japanese racer in the elite class, Takaaki Nakagami, and in the new season he will race alongside him Alex Marquez, who came to the Italian team from the Honda factory team. The LCR team has not yet officially announced the presentation of the car for the new season.
Sponsors Ducati Desmosedici GP19
The Avintia Ducati team was officially formed before this season Sponsors Ducati. The other Ducati satellite team will continue to lead Raul romero, and the name change is, of course, due to marketing motives. The team will compete in the new season with two newcomers, namely the champion of the Moto2 class, Eneo Bastianini in Luco Marini, who also competed in Moto2 last season. The official premiere of the two-year-old Ducati motorcycle in the new colors will be online on February 5th.
