F1 director Stefano Domenicali has compared current world champion Max Verstappen to Michael Schumacher and called him a "cannibal" when he fights on the track.

The Dutchman can already become world champion for the second time in the next race in Singapore, five races to go, and this year he has already won eleven races. The record mark of thirteen wins in a single season is held by Michael Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel, and many expect Verstappen to easily beat this record, and he is increasingly being compared to F1's biggest stars, such as Michael Schumacher.

According to Stefan Domenicali, Michael Schumacher and Max Verstappen are very similar in some ways.

"He is similar to him because he focuses on everything he does on the track," Domenicali compared Verstappen to the legendary German. "He became much more mature and learned to control his emotions. He's a real cannibal, he doesn't look anyone in the eye, and in that way he reminds me of Michael."
