On the way off the track, the Frenchman collided with a tractor that was pulling Adiran Sutil's car, which had flown off the track only a lap earlier.
After the race, Massa said he felt they should have stopped the race well before they did. “I’m worried because I heard he crashed into a tractor,” said Massa, who had already visited the unfortunate Bianchi at the hospital. “They started the race too fast and finished too late in non-driving conditions. I had shouted on the radio five laps earlier to stop the race because there was too much water on the track, but they took too much time. ”
