MotoGP riders stayed at the racetrack in Brno today after the race for the Grand Prix of the Czech Republic and passed the test day. Just like in the race, most of the eight-hour testing was at the top of the factory Ducati racer. Just over half an hour before the end, the fastest time was set by Marc Marquez, and the closest to him was Johann Zarco, who also overtook Dani Pedroso towards the end of the day, in another factory Honda. Andrea Dovizioso and Jorge Lorenzo finished the day in fourth and fifth place, followed by Cal Crutchlow, who tested the new front forks. Valentino Rossi was seventh, a good seven tenths of a second behind the fastest time. The Italian was the only representative of the factory Yamaha after Maverick Vinales missed the test due to shoulder pain after falling in the first lap of the race.

Danilo Petrucci was eighth, and the fastest ten was completed by Alex Rins, who was testing new electronics settings and a new chassis for next season, and Hafizh Syahrin.

Rins ’teammate Andrea Iannone soon finished testing as he fell, and his time was good enough for eleventh place. Twelfth Aleix Espargaro, who was testing a new carbon arm, also fell, and Bradley Smith at KTM was thirteenth.
