Marc Marquez will not compete in the Argentine Grand Prix after undergoing surgery to repair a broken bone in his right thumb.
The Spaniard will also avoid the penalty of two extended laps for the collision with Miguel Oliveira, which the commissioners issued specifically for the race in Argentina.
