Marc Marquez will start today's race in Aragon from the best starting position. The Spaniard drove the lap in the last moments of qualifying with a record time of 1: 47.804. This is his third consecutive and seventh pole position this season.

Jorge Lorenzo was the first to break the lap record set by Casey Stoner in 2011, but Stefan Bradl and Marquez soon overtook him, and with Yamaha he was only one hundredth of a second away from Marquez's time.

Marquez and Lorenzo will be accompanied in the first start line by Dani Pedrosa, who also got the last free practice, which showed that he will also be dangerous in the race.

Valentino Rossi was fourth next to Bradle and sixth was Alvaro Bautista. The third starting lineup was filled by Cal Crutchlow, Bradley Smith and Andrea Dovizioso.
