Marquez the youngest winner of the royal class!

Newcomer to the MotoGP series, Marc Marquez crowned his dominant weekend at the U.S. Grand Prix with his first victory in the royal motorcycle class. The Spaniard clashed to win with his compatriot and teammate at Repsol Honda, Dani Pedrosa.

Pedrosa started the race from second place and managed to overtake Marquez until the first turn, with whom they then closely followed most of the race. In the middle of the race, Marquez managed to take the lead with a brave maneuver in the seventh turn. Pedrosa followed him closely until five laps before the end, when he suddenly apparently gave up and had to settle for second place.

Current world champion Jorge Lorenzo remained in contact with Honda for only the first five laps. The Yamaha racer kept an eye on his tires and tried to catch up with Pedrosa towards the end of the race, but he ran out of a few laps. He ran the race in third place.

Cal Crutchlow surprised with fourth place. The Briton was stuck behind Stefan Bradl in the first laps of the race, but he overtook the German in the ninth lap and then managed to keep pace with the leading racers. He finally finished the race just three seconds behind Lorenzo.

Bradl was fifth ahead of Valentino Rossi. The seven-time world champion said he picked the wrong settings, so he could not repeat the show from Qatar.
