Marc Marquez completely outclassed his rivals in the race in Argentina and led with more than 12 seconds of advantage, and after finishing his pace in the last laps and only controlling the advantage, he finished almost ten seconds ahead of everyone.
The Honda racer led from the first lap and dictated an incredible pace that rivals could not keep up with, but it was much more evenly matched behind him. There, Valentino Rossi and Andrea Dovizioso alternately led a group of six, at times even eight racers. It was only in the last laps that the Italians broke away from the pursuers and then clashed for the last time in the last lap. Rossi managed to overtake Dovizioso with a fantastic overtaking and climb to second place. Dovi was left without an answer to the experienced Rossi and had to settle for third place. Fourth was Jack Miller in a Pramac Ducati and fifth was Alex Rins with a Suzuki.
