Marc Marquez believes Fabio Quartararo must be prepared to take big risks this weekend if he is to keep his world title hopes alive.
The Frenchman is 14 points behind the leader Baganaio with two races to go. That is why it is quite likely that we will get the champion only at the last race in Valencia. But given the current form of both and the fact that the track in Sepang suits Ducati very well, there is a very real possibility that Bagnaia can secure the title this Sunday.
Even Marc Marquez could not avoid the question about the fight for the title.
"Pecco has the first finishing ball. It could very well happen that he will be the new world champion as early as Sunday. But this is also the last chance for Fabio. After a poor performance in the last race, he needs to pull himself together and show why he is still the current world champion. I think he will do that."
"Already in Australia, he took a risk, which did not pay off. But this time, he really has to risk everything if he wants to have a chance to defend the title in Valencia."
