Marina Bay Raceway in 2023 with a different configuration

Singapore's Marina Bay Circuit will apparently undergo significant changes ahead of the 1 F2023 race. Singapore has been part of the F1 racing calendar since 2008, due to the demanding layout of the track, the races held under the lights are very popular with spectators, and slightly less enthusiastic with the drivers, as it is one of the most physically and mentally demanding races of the season , which takes almost two hours with its 61 laps.

Since it is a street track, overtaking on it is quite difficult, but the organizers obviously want to change this aspect before the next race. Although the changes have not yet been officially confirmed, the new track layout can be seen on the race's official website when purchasing tickets. This one is more open, as there is now a straight at the place of corners 16, 17, 18 and 19.
