At the beginning of the second day of testing in Jerez, the Lotus team also presented its E23 race car to the public live. Last month, the team released the first computer images of the car, which was first launched on Saturday. Due to a minor delay, the car only arrived in Jerez on the night of Monday to Tuesday, and although it was initially claimed that we would not see it on the track today, Pastor Maldonado completed a test lap with him about an hour after the start of the second day of testing.
We have already seen everything from this year's race cars, except for the Force Indie, which will be presented only at the second test in Barcelona.
