Erik Logar, an experienced Slovenian motor sports official, expressed his opinion on the social network Google Plus about the unloved event at the Idrija Rally. "The foolish specimen," as Logar called him, drove to the track where the speed test was taking place at the time, despite warnings from the judges.
“Four days after the end of the Idrija rally, I am increasingly interested in what the epilogue will be. Well, since everything is already known, it is known who won which place, most will say. True, in competitive terms, everything is known. I am more interested in the epilogue of the stupid move of one individual, who allowed himself to drive in the opposite direction of the test with his personal vehicle just a few minutes before the start of the second speedway Čekovnik, ”Logar wrote.
In doing so, he did not heed either the instructions of the security guards or the instructions of the judges; what’s more, at least two of them he was trying to literally run over. Fortunately, the race management reacted in a timely manner, informing the pre-race vehicles that were already on the track to stop and wait for the ‘danger’ to leave the venue. Venue for which the organizer has obtained all necessary permits.
But as it turns out, the director or the president of the management board of a forest company can afford just about anything, even if it poses a great danger. It does not matter that he runs a company that has been proven to destroy the road on which the test took place via Čekovnik much more. It is important that he can come to his weekend at any time.
It is necessary to know that the organizer informed all the residents along the route about the imprisonment, and it even happened that someone immediately crushed the notice and wiped it in the face of the person who brought it. And then again the minority (as far as I know the vast majority does not oppose the rally on this route) will prevail over the majority. And if nothing happens in the case of this year's arbitrary drive in the opposite direction, then the dominance of the minority over the majority, at least as far as the speedway across Čekovnik is concerned, is very likely as early as next year.
Therefore, I sincerely hope that the police and other competent institutions will be able to sanction such dangerous actions, "he wrote, adding:" Finally, praise to Igor and the team for the race, and to all the performers who showed beautiful and daring driving.
