Sebastien Loeb has admitted that he needs to improve his racing skills in road racing (WTCC) and race car setup. Let’s remember that the nine-time world rally champion focused the entire season on Citroen’s program. Last year he raced in both the rally and the FIA GT series, and this year he focused only on touring racing. He even led the WTCC for a while when he won the first race of the season in Marrakech. Later, he had quite a few problems and complications in accidents, and then only won another race.
In the end, Sebastien finished in third place, behind teammates Lopez and Muller. Sam says this year about this season: “I lost a lot in other races this year because I didn’t overtake enough. I need to improve racing bike by bike. Lopez overtakes a lot, Yvan is good too, and I have to improve myself.
I don’t have enough experience in this area, but I know where I need to improve. It won’t be easy, but I will work on it. I have to overtake more and at the right time, in the right place. I also need to improve racing in traffic, which I’m not used to. In addition, there are also very important settings, I set up a race car in the rally and I didn't change them during the stages, because I simply felt good, and here it is necessary to improve even more.
