Leclerc in the shortened qualifiers to the pole in Monaco

Charles Leclerc won the best starting position before his home race in Monaco. His teammate Carlos Sainz will start the race from the first starting line, while the second starting line will be occupied by Red Bull Racing racers Sergio Perez and Max Verstappen.

The qualifiers ended 30 seconds early after Perez spun and Sainz crashed into him and the referees hung a red flag. Fifth was McLaren racer Lando Norris ahead of Georg Russell and Fernando Alonso, who also crashed into the tires when Perez and Sainz crashed.

Lewis Hamilton finished qualifying in eighth place, ahead of Sebastian Vettl and Esteban Ocon.

In the second part, Yuki Tsunoda, Valtteri Bottas, Kevin Magnussen, Daniel Ricciardo and Mick Schumacher said goodbye to the sequel, dividing the places from 11 to 15.
