Charles Leclerc set the fastest time of the second training session in Monza, which again passed in changing conditions. The Ferrari racer set his fastest time (1: 20.978) at the beginning of training. Just behind him was Lewis Hamilton, who was 0,068 seconds behind. Third and fourth place went to Vettel and Bottas. Max Verstappen and Alexander Albon were the last to be less than a second behind the leader.
The seventh time was set by Toro Rossa racer Pierre Gasly. Romain Grosjean, Daniel Ricciardo and Daniil Kvyat also finished in the top ten.
