The organizers of the 24-hour Le Mans race, the Automobile Club de l’Ouest, have achieved an increase in the number of garages from 56 to as many as 60 for the coming year. Initially, it was thought that we would get this renovation this year, but now it has been postponed to next year, when they will also reorganize the paddock, says ACO President Pierre Fillon: “We will build more garages, but we also need to reorganize the paddock made to the place where the parc of the farm is now. That is why we need to wait and tackle this for the coming year. 99,99% is that we will have 2016 race cars at the start in 60. ”

The starting line-up will not be extended to get more space for the pits, but there is quite a bit of work to be done. Precisely because of this, the question arises as to whether the plan may not be postponed for another year. In any case, 60 Le Mans 24-hour race cars have been achieved four times so far, in the early XNUMXs.
