Daniil Kvyat set the fastest time on the third day of the first tests in Barcelona. Racer Toro Rossa set the fastest time of the tests so far 1: 17.704 10 minutes before the end of the day with a C5 tire (the softest version), thus pushing Kimi Raikkonen to second place, who was leading after the morning work.

Daniel Ricciardo with Renault took third place at the end. The Australian shared the day again with his team-mate Nico Hulkenberg, who set the sixth time. Sebastian Vettel did not improve his time in the afternoon, finishing fourth as Max Verstappen.

Seventh and eighth place went to Haas racers Pietro Fittipaldi and Romain Grosjean. The Brazilian competed in the morning and the Frenchman parked the car by the track in the afternoon and four minutes before the end due to problems. Carlos Sainz and Sergio Perez also finished in the top ten, followed by both Mercedes racers.

In the afternoon, we also saw a Williams race car on the track in Barcelona for the first time this year. George Russell completed only 23 laps and set the slowest time.
