KTM sporting boss Pit Beirer has rejected the possibility of Marc Marquez joining his MotoGP team in the 2024 season.

Marc Marquez found himself in an unenviable position with Honda, and his problems and an uncompetitive motorcycle gave rise to rumors about the end of cooperation with the Japanese manufacturer and a transfer to KTM, which Red Bull and, according to some speculations, also Repsol.

But according to Beirer, this will not happen next season. "Currently we have valid contracts with four very strong racers. It is nice that there is talk about the possibility of Marc Marquez's arrival, for us it is a compliment. But Marc is out of the question for us, because as long as he wins, the credit goes to the racer, and when he doesn't, the bike is to blame. We will stick to our young racers," he added.

Beirer also rejected the possibility of another KTM semi-factory team, which would compete under the Husqvarna or MV Agusta brand.
