Hulkenberg will be driving without lenses this year

 

Nico Hulkenberg is already in Australia at the moment, where the first racing weekend of Formula One drivers will start on Friday. The Swiss newspaper Blick reports that the Sauber racer underwent laser vision correction during the winter, so he no longer needs to use contact lenses to drive.

"I didn't have any problems with contact lenses," said the 25-year-old German, "but that's how it's even easier for me."
