Hamilton ousted Rosberg and celebrated his eighth victory

Lewis Hamilton celebrated his eighth victory at Suzuki this year after knocking team-mate Nic Rosberg off the track in the first corners. The German, who prevented a collision between teammates, drove over the curb and lost two places against Sebastian Vettl and Valtteri Bottas.

Rosberg later broke back into second place during the race, but his gap in the overall standings widened.

Third place went to Vettl and fourth was Kimi Raikkonen in the second Ferrari.

Rosberg, who started the race from the best starting position, was struggling with a headache and neck pain before the race, but when the race started he was leading in the first turn, but through the second turn Hamilton slipped past him. even in Belgium, with a much cleaner overtaking by Rosberg, he complained that the latter did not leave him enough space.

Even before the first corner, Daniel Ricciardo and Felipe Massa collided, who, like Sergio Perez, had to replace damaged tires.

Hamilton easily increased the advantage in the foreground, while the mechanics stopped Rosberg's run with a warning that his engine was overheating and that damage was being done to it. The German therefore had to give in and the teammate gained an even more comfortable advantage.

With stops, Rosberg managed to break into second place, Vettel drove in third, and Raikkonen also managed to break into fourth place with an earlier stop.

Rosberg finished almost 19 seconds behind Hamilton and Vettel two seconds behind him.
