The Haas team will compete in a completely white race car on the last day of testing in Barcelona, as the Russian tricolor and the logos of the Russian sponsor Uralkali are being removed from it due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Uralkali, a fertilizer factory, is owned by Dmitri Mazepin, the father of Nikita Mazepin, who is one of the team's racers. Mazepin’s financial support dictated a white-blue-red painting of the race car that strongly resembles the Russian tricolor.

Nikita Mazepin will perform his driving duties as planned, in the morning, and Mick Schumacher will take over the car in the afternoon. In a press statement, however, they wrote that they would not comment on the agreements with the partners for now, which leaves open the question of whether the Russian sponsor will be released only for testing, or whether the cooperation will be suspended.
