Tim Gajser already won the crown of this year's world champion in the elite motocross class MXGP on the first run in Imola! The team needed only eighth place for the overall victory, and was fifth in the finish of the first run, as the victory was prevented by a fall.
Gajser, who has three more races to go by the end of the season, thus won his third championship with Honda. He first became champion in 2015 in the MX2 class, and then in the 2016 season for the first time in the toughest MXGP class.
