Klemen Gerčar, last year's world champion of the MX3 series, has created his motocross team 62 MotorSport, which will compete in all European competitions of the World Motocross Championship, as well as in the ADAC Championship, which takes place on Slovenian and German tracks.

Klemen will perform under the watchful eye of one of the best coaches of the sport, Harry Everts. Despite numerous offers, Gerčar joined forces with Husqvarna, which supported him in creating his own team, which is also the first Slovenian team in history to compete in the FIM World Championship and the MXGP series.

According to Gerčar, his own team should bring at least three advantages. One is to save a lot of time when there is no need to coordinate plans with the other team, and at the same time you have instant access to the workshop, engines and spare parts. The downside, of course, is that he will have to take care of the logistics himself, but this is probably offset by the fact that Husqvarna will supply him with spare parts for the engines, which will greatly relieve the budget.

Gerčar does not doubt the decision, but at the same time he completely trusts his coach and mentor Everts. In the 2015 season, two more mechanics will work in his team, and the base of the 62 MotorSport team is in Slovenia, where there are already four engines ready for the new season.
