Nick Fry will step down as CEO of Mercedes in the coming weeks. His duties will be taken over by Toto Wolff, whose arrival on the Silver team has immediately called into question Fry’s job. After an internal review, the team determined that the 56-year-old Fry will have to resign and will continue to work with the team as a consultant.
Wolff will work even more closely with Ross Brawn, the team boss, because of this move.
