Johann Zarco did his best in the challenging rain conditions in Misano in his second free practice. They were followed by both Ducati factory team riders Francesco Bagnaia and Jack Miller.
Yamaha racers fared worse. Currently the leader in the overall standings, Quartararo reached a modest 18th place with more than two seconds behind the best. Yamaha’s fastest racer was Morbidelli, who won 13th place.
Lap times were about 10 seconds slower due to rainy conditions compared to the times from the first free practice, so Maverick Vinales is still leading in Friday’s total training. He is followed by current world champion Joan Mir and racers Ducati Bagnai and Miller.
