The former head of the Ferrari F1 team, Maurizio Arrivabene, has been suspended from football for two years by the Italian authorities, as he is said to be partly responsible for irregularities in the finances of the Juventus football club and interference with the players' transfer contracts.

The 65-year-old Arrivabene was one of the leading members of the club when he was working with Ferrari, and he became the general manager at the end of 2021, but he resigned from his position in November 2022, when the news of the investigation of irregularities leaked to the public.
