Sebastian Vettel believes that he is still in the fight for the world title with Ferrari and that they will try to do everything in the team to catch Lewis Hamilton. With the second win of the season last weekend at the Hungaroring, the German’s lag behind Hamilton is forty-two points, and behind second-placed Nico Rosberg is half as small.

“We have to stay realistic because there is still a lot of work to be done, but you never know. The best way is to stay calm and do everything in our power. Then we will see where this will take us. I am sure that all members of the team appreciate the break, and we will come back stronger, ”said Vettel.

He described the opening part of the season as phenomenal, winning two wins and five other podium finishes out of the first ten races in a red car, which Ferrari recorded only after the 2014 crash, which Fernando Alonso and Kimi Raikkonen recorded only two rankings in the top three, visible progress.

“Performances and work ethic are quite different than last year. Everything is better than before. Within the team, we are happy with what has been achieved in all areas. Raikkonen feels happier in a car I didn't drive myself last year. Of all the teams, Ferrari has made the most progress. Sometimes it happens that things don’t go according to plan. If I look at the last five or six races, the achievements look good, ”concluded the four-time world champion.
