The Alpine team has confirmed that they have offered Frenchman Esteban Ocon a new, three-year contract that will keep their racer on the team at least until the end of the 2024 season.
Ocon joined the team in the 2020 season, when it competed under the name Renault, and at the Sahir Grand Prix he won his first podium in Formula 1 with second place.
“I am happy to be racing with the team even after the end of this season,” said Ocon, who said he wants to continue to develop with the team and sees the 2022 season as an opportunity for even greater success.
