Ducati is collaborating with luxury car brand Bentley to create an exclusive Diavel V4 special
Ducati has teamed up with luxury car company Bentley to produce an exclusive version of their Diavel V4 muscle cruiser, limited to just 500 units.

Called the “Ducati Diavel for Bentley”, it starts at a hefty £58.000 and is based on the standard Diavel model – meaning the same 1158cc V4 Granturismo engine, producing a claimed 166bhp at 10.750rpm.

Already £23.595 in standard trim, the special edition was unveiled at Art Basel week in Miami Beach and marks the first collaboration between the two brands.

The other 50 Ducati Diavel for Bentley Mulliner models will also be reserved for existing Bentley customers, and whether you like the look or not, they're all likely to sell out quickly.

As with the standard bike, the special model still has the same cast aluminum chassis, advanced sensitive electronics and stunning side profile. Where they differ is on the surface, as the design decisions are said to draw from the exclusive Bentley Batur.

The Batur is Bentley's most powerful production car to date, producing a claimed 12 hp from its twin-turbo W729,6 engine. The bus was built by Mulliner, and 18 examples came off the production lines.

For example, the 'Scarab Green' paint on the body was sourced from Bentley Mulliner, and the custom forged wheels are finished in 'Dark Titanium Satin' and designed to look like those on the car. Also inspired by the quad bike is the two-tone front fascia, armor and upper tank elements. The stock quad exhaust has also been swapped out for a pair of longer and straighter tips.

Elements including the headlight, engine and radiator covers are finished in carbon fiber – as is the rear bodywork, which can be switched between a two-seater and a single-seater design.

This isn't the first time Ducati has collaborated with a luxury car company either, having released the Diavel 2020 Lamborghini in late 1260. Like Ducati, Bentley and Lambo belong to the Volkswagen Group – meaning you could expect a tie-up with Audi or Porsche – next.

For now, however, for a bit more exclusivity, 50 “Diavel for Bentley Mulliner” bikes will also be produced just for existing Bentley customers – providing the wealthy few with the ultimate garage surplus.

In collaboration with the Ducati Centro Stile design team, owners can choose different colors for the seat, front brake calipers, carbon parts and rims. The body can also be painted the same color as their car to achieve a matching match. And the price for such exclusivity? Only £71.000.

As with all special Ducatis, you will receive a Certificate of Authenticity with the model name and production number engraved on a plate on the right side of the bike.

It will also display a special animation on the TFT dashboard upon launch and – if you never want to drive it – it will be delivered in a custom wooden crate. A matching jet helmet and vest will also be available to customers and more information is now available on the website Ducati. com.
