Milan Bubnič started this year's season of mountain speed races with a sovereign victory in Stubičke Toplice, Croatia. With the Lancia Delta Integrale, he finished the race only behind the Hungarian with a Croatian license, Istvan Kavecz (BMW E90). In the second run, Bubnič drove more than three and a half seconds faster than Kavecz, but he ran a little less than a second and a half to win. The second fastest Slovenian was Matej Grudnik with the new Renault Clio, who was fourth in the overall standings. Third place went to Peter Marc.

In Division I we saw quite a few resignations, and consequently only the winner Aleš Žakelj with Zastava Yuga and Primož Tavčar led to the finish line.

The victory in Division II went to Tilno Pogačar in just 0.02 seconds, who managed to overtake Matevž Čudn in the second run. The third was Primož Kostanjšek. Division III was severely curtailed, as despite quite a few registered racers, only Alojz Udovč took part in the race.
