Ron Dennis returned to McLaren with a clear shot, replacing Martin Whitmarsh, whose future is uncertain. “Fellow shareholders have asked me to write a new, exciting chapter in McLaren’s history, starting with improving work and results on, and along the track,” Dennis explained.
“In the coming weeks, I will thoroughly review our business, with the aim of improving our performance, but I need to find areas in development where we can cash in on our technology. Next month, I will put together a new company strategy, and introduce the organizational structure that I think will be most appropriate to achieve our goals. I look forward to returning to the position of Chief Executive Officer, and working with many colleagues and shareholders to meet the goals, which are to win everything we participate in, ”explained Dennis.
