Cal Crutchlow will leave the Ducati team early and will be replaced by Andrea Ianone. Crutchlow had a valid contract with the Italian team for next season, but they only terminated it by mutual agreement.

"We have reached an agreement with Cal Crutchlow on the early termination of the contract, which binds the Briton to our team this season and next," they wrote in a statement at Ducati Corse. "The colors of the Ducati factory team will be represented by Andrea Dovizioso and Andrea Iannone in the 2015 season."

Crutchlow joined Ducati after a successful third season with Tech 3 Yamaha, where he replaced Nicky Haydn. But he hasn’t caught the rhythm this season, and his best result of the season is sixth place in Qatar.

The 29-year-old Briton will join LCR Honda next season, where Stefan Bradl is racing this year.
