Monster Energy King of Europe finished the 2013 season last weekend. Like last year, the final match took place at the Slovakian “Slovakiaring”. 40 drivers from 12 different countries registered for the final race. It was also attended by 13-year-old Adam Zalewski, who let all drivers know that he knows how to drive a car. On Saturday, October 19.10.2013, 200, there was a warm-up day, where teams and drivers prepared their race cars for Sunday's race. Speeds of up to 1km / h appeared at the entrance to the first bend, which is a big improvement since last year's races. On Sunday, the drivers had an appointment early in the morning and then only XNUMX hour to warm up so they hurried to their race cars and drove as far as they could. Then the qualifiers began with the support of a few thousand heads
crowds of fans. Ukrainian champion Alexey Golovnya landed in the first qualifying place, but his engine blew up due to pushing the car to the absolute limit in the second lap. Second place went to Polish drift champion Bartosz Stolarski after he left a cloud of smoke on the racetrack in his 1000-horsepower Nissan S14. Romanian drift champion Calin Ciortan reached 3rd place, 4th place went to Ukrainian Dmitriy Illyuk. To everyone's surprise, the favorite Francesco Conti landed in 5th place, which is not exactly a great result by his standards. However, he apologized to all the fans, as he defeated all opponents in the final race and thus became the European drift champion. The runner-up is Frenchman Benjamin Boulbes in a radical BMW E36 with an M5 engine. Adam Kerenyi sits in an excellent 3rd place. 4th best is Calin ciortan, and 5th is Norbert Kovacik with 10 points less than Ciortan.
