The FIA today released the official calendar of the first eight races of this year’s Formula 1 calendar. This currently includes 8 races in six European venues. England and Austria, where the season will also start on July 5, will host two consecutive races.

After two races at the Red Bull Ring, the caravan will move to the Hungaroring before four more races await us in August, two in England and one each in Spain and Belgium. On September 6, there will also be a race in Monza, which, according to their mayor, should be hosted at least until the 2025 season.

The leading men of Formula 1 are still striving to run between 15 and 18 races. A further expanded version of the calendar can be officially expected in the coming weeks. As they also announced, they will be at the moment until the race is safe enough without spectators.

In doing so, teams will need to take strict measures to ensure the greatest possible safety for their employees. These relate mainly to the limitation of the number of members of each team present at the race.

Formula 2 and Formula 3 racers will also compete in all these venues.
