At Caterham, Gied van der Gard had too little or no rear right tire in today's race, which he lost soon after being exported from the pits. Of course, the International Automobile Federation treated this as negligence, or superficiality of the team, which earned a fine of 10 thousand euros. In fact, the official explanation also included the fact that the van der Gardu team had only been told to bring it back to the pits, and it would be correct to stop the car in a safe place.

So the team did not act properly and safely enough, and nevertheless van der Garde did not lose much, as he was driving in nineteenth place at the time. However, teammate Charles Pic won the fight with Jules Bianchi at the end of the race and won seventeenth place.
